Second Annual Red Dress Run
from Moe's Deli & Bar, Pointe Claire, Quebec
Date: Sunday August 23, 1998
Hares: Dead Animal, Foxy Lady
With a record 72 Hashers, all wearing red, almost $2,500
was raised for the Cedar's Cancer Institute of The Royal Victoria Hostpital.
The day's run covered 7 km of road-bound and forested trails,
bounded by St Charles and Sources Boulevands in Pointe Claire
and Kirkland. 3 "rest stops" were made at Cheers, Marlowe's
and Moe's where over 40 pitcher's of beer were consumed by the
thirsty pack.

Everyone wore Red Dresses to draw attention to the cause and to have fun. Although accessorizing was not encouraged, many hashers took the liberty of adding extra "bits" to their costumes.

The down-downs featured the "Auction of Silly Things".
Amoung the favorite items sold were - a Montreal Canadien's
Hockey Shirt from Molson's, Debbie's Macarena Bear, Glyn's
famous Shrimp Gumbo, a set of his & her's underwares, and
Ian's last call cup. Over $500 was raised from the Auction.
